In 2005, Hundreds of passionate, effective high school students applied for NetAid Global Action Awards. They came from towns small and large in all but three of the 50 states; attended public and private schools; and worked with their communities, grassroots organizations and faith groups.
The projects they led were as diverse as their backgrounds – ranging from concerts to eradicate polio to websites about HIV/AIDS – together they have changed the lives of poor people in over 100 countries.
NetAid congratulates the finalists for their exceptional work.
