About the NetAid/Cable Positive PSA Contest

In early 2007, NetAid and Cable Positive challenged students from high schools in New York City to create a 30-second Public Service Announcement (PSA) about HIV/AIDS. The "What's Your Angle: Teens Take on AIDS" contest asked young people to address how the HIV/AIDS pandemic affects their local community in New York City as well as the global community.

The "Why?" PSA was produced by award-winning producer Greg Pace, in partnership with Kismet Films.  The PSA contest was made possible with support from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS and the New York City AIDS Fund of The New York Community Trust.

The PSA winners were honored at NetAid's third annual Global Action Awards, held in New York City on July 26, 2007, and awarded a digital camera.
